About Avantika

Avantika has more than 17 years’ experience in the Urban Sector and has worked with several cities to support them, help communities (including the vulnerable groups) and provide better infrastructure in the cities. She has guided and led her teams to deliver projects aimed at supporting cities in improving their air quality through scalable interventions under the National Clean Air Program. She has also led work in cities- to study the trends of utilization of public spaces by young children in Indian cities and the reasons for the decline in the trends. Few of her other assignments as a Project Manager include conceptualizing and developing projects to cater to the needs of young children and their caregivers. She also leads and support few partnership programs/ Leadership groups in Asia to support capacity building of senior officials representing Transport Ministries in the region
