About Ana Carolina

Dr Silva is a psychoanalyst with a double doctorate in psychology, language and education from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and the Université Paris VIII, France. She specialises in psychoanalysis at the SEDES Sapientiae Institute in São Paulo, where she is a researcher and consultant on issues related to the mental health of the black population. She is the general coordinator of Casa de Marias support centre for women.
