About Blessing

Blessing Adesiyan is passionate about closing the global care gap and building the future of work, family and economies through care. As the Founder and CEO of Caring Africa, she leads groundbreaking efforts to formalise, professionalise and power caregiving systems across Africa and beyond. Caring Africa works to create sustainable childcare infrastructure, unlocking the potential of the care economy, and making care visible, valuable, and viable – for families, employers and economies alike.

Blessing’s work sits at the intersection of care, business, gender equity, and economic development. She believes that when we invest in care –  childcare, care of older people and people with disabilities, and workforce care – we don’t just support families, we fuel GDP growth, unlock women’s participation in the workforce, drive social progress, and build stronger, more resilient societies. Across private and public sectors and international platforms, she collaborates with employers, investors, policymakers and community leaders to build a world where care is not a burden but a lever for prosperity.

Featured in The New York Times, Fast Company, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Crain’s, Parents, NBC, ABC, Fortune, and Time.com, as a seasoned keynote speaker, Blessing has delivered insightful talks for over 100 global companies.

She co-founded CareForce and the Chamber Of Mothers during the height of the Covid pandemic and serves on the board of Famtech.org, the leading platform for care innovators driving the USD 650 billion care economy.

She has a BSc in chemical engineering from the University of Florida, an MSc in energy management from the New York Institute of Technology, and an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
