About Sam

Sam is an international development practitioner with over 20 years’ experience working on behavioural sciences and adaptive management with local and international NGOs, UN agencies, private foundations, and local and national governments. He has worked across immunization, maternal & child health and nutrition, early childhood development, inclusive urban development, and gender equity across sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and Latin America. His experience spans program and policy design, program and grants management, training & capacity development, M&E and Learning, and supporting change management processes. Sam has an A.B. in Social Studies from Harvard University, and M.P.A. in Development Studies from Princeton’s School of Public and International Affairs, with a certificate in Health and Health Policy. He is a native English and French speaker, with fluency in Spanish and Portuguese and a working knowledge of Amharic.
