About Erica

Erica Salomone is Associate Professor of Developmental Psychology at the University of Milano-Bicocca. Her research focuses on developing, adapting, and evaluating intervention models for autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. She serves as a technical consultant for the World Health Organization’s Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse and contributes to the international working group on WHO Caregiver Skills Training. Erica conducts research in public community settings in Italy and globally, across high- and low-income countries. Her work also explores technology-driven solutions to promote inclusion and accessibility, using digital tools to support families and professionals in implementing evidence-based practices.
