About Johan
Johan Bävman is a freelance photographer in film and still photography based in Malmö, Sweden. He graduated from Nordens Fotoskola, Stockholm in 2007 and between the years 2008 and 2011 worked as a staff photographer at Sydsvenskan, one of the largest newspapers in Sweden. He combines his own long-term projects with freelance assignments from different clients worldwide. The project Swedish Dads has had a tremendous impact and has been published and shared widely all over the world. Johan has won several awards, including a World Press Photo prize, POY, a Sony Award, NPPA, a UNICEF Photo Award and some leading Swedish prizes.
