About Kurt

Kurt Shaw is the co-director of Usina da Imaginação, an international NGO that teaches arts to indigenous and afro-Brazilian children. His work has won the UNAOC Intercultural Innovation award and the UNICEF Healthy Childhood challenge. His films include The Princess in the Alleyway (best film of 2017 from the Subversive Cinema Society in the USA) and The Other Side of the Other (2019).
