Early Childhood Matters Gathering in Israel

As part of the Van Leer Foundation’s Board of Trustees' annual visit to Israel, this gathering brings together colleagues and project partners, co-hosted by the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute, for an intimate Early Childhood Matters gathering with Ruth Feldman, Professor of Developmental Social Neuroscience at Yale and Reichman Universities, and Michael Feigelson, Van Leer Foundation Chief Executive.

This interactive conversation will explore the importance of parental wellbeing, drawing on the science of connection, resilience, and how the parental brain is shaped — themes unpacked in the 2025 edition of Early Childhood Matters, published by the Van Leer Foundation.
