About Saima

Saima Siyal is a development professional and researcher with over 16 years of experience in Early Childhood Development (ECD), Education, and Public Health. She currently serves as a Researcher at Aga Khan University’s Human Development Program, where she leads initiatives on the Nurturing Care Framework and operational guidelines for Pakistan’s government systems.

Her expertise spans program implementation, research, and evaluation, with a strong focus on promoting early learning, caregiver support, and community-based interventions. She has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed studies, developed training and assessment tools, and led large-scale projects in collaboration with international organisations, including UNICEF and Harvard University.
