About Fabrizio

Dr Fabrizio Zilibotti is Tuntex Professor of Economics at Yale University. He earned a Laurea in Political Science at Bologna University and a PhD in economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is the recipient of several awards, among them the Yrjö Jahnsson 2009 award, assigned to the best economist in Europe under the age of 45. His research includes macroeconomics, economic growth and development, family economics, and the economic development of China. He is the author (with Matthias Doepke) of Love, Money and Parenting: How Economics Explains the Way we Raise our Kids, published by Princeton University Press in 2019 and translated into several foreign languages.
