About Alex

Alex brings a wide range of skills, experience, and interests to his work. Having co-founded an non-profit experiential education organization, he has managed complex projects, developed performance metrics, and facilitated organizational growth. He also hired, trained, staffed, and managed an amazing team of full-time and part-time staff as well as volunteers. His passion for cities, accessibility, and sustainability lead him to complete a masters in “Sustainable Transportation and Infrastructure Planning”. This experience honed his interest and skills in the integration of land-use, mobility, and sustainability planning to create livable, thriving communities. In addition, experience at a public transport agency and a regional planning organization helped him better understand the challenges cities face and the efforts they are making to address those challenges and, as a result, he wants to raise awareness and understanding of these challenges and efforts.
