
Visakha KA is a Senior Program Associate working with the Sustainable Cities and Transport Team at World Resources Institute (WRI) India, coordinating efforts to create a Network of Cities and States in India for the Nurturing Neighbourhoods 2.0 program, focused on creating young children and caregiver-friendly urban spaces. She manages stakeholder engagement, provides technical support for on-ground implementation, and works to institutionalize policies for young children and caregiver friendly urban spaces in the city. Her key contributions include developing toolkits and guidelines for public space design under the initative. She has over 7 years of experience working with diverse organizations, contributing to urban planning projects, policy development, and the establishment of key city infrastructure initiatives.
