About Lisa

Lisa Witter is a serial entrepreneur, behavioural science expert, and certified brain-based coach, who integrates neuroscience, psychology, and behavioural science into her work. She co-founded Apolitical.co, the world’s largest peer-to-peer learning network for public servants (300,000+ members in 170 countries). She is also the CEO and co-Founder of the global, non-partisan Better Politics Foundation, dedicated to renewing leadership, reimagining politics, and rebuilding trust. The foundation has helped spark 38 Political Leadership Incubators in as many countries.

A former public servant, Lisa has advised CEOs, Nobel Peace Prizewinners, philanthropists and politicians. She pioneered the Political Leadership Impact Path, co-led the first global study on politicians’ mental wellbeing, and is currently working to identify and standardise the traits and skills political leaders need today, while shifting the norm towards continuous training and support. She has also led multiple climate leadership journeys to Greenland to help leaders deepen their understanding of the climate crisis.

A World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, she co-chaired the Agile Governance Council and served on the Brain and Behavior Council. She has received the Creative Bureaucracy Award, is a BMW Foundation Futurity Fellow, and co-anchored CGI’s women’s track for two years. She serves on the boards of Panorama Global and the Impact Board of private equity firm EQT.
