
Kézia Paz is a Black Brazilian woman, a sound and visual artist, art educator, and community music therapist. She holds a Master’s degree from USP (University of São Paulo), researching Ivone Lara’s trajectory in the field of mental health. She specializes in Violence Prevention and Response, and has a postgraduate degree in Social Control of Public Policies. She is a music therapist with experience in the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS) and the Unified Social Assistance System (SUAS). She is also a music therapist at Casa de Marias. She promotes artistic, educational, and therapeutic experiences mediated by music and musical experiences, focusing on working with Black and marginalized women, and diverse childhoods and youth.
