About Jo

Jo Aggarwal is the founder and CEO of Wysa, the world’s leading conversational AI platform dedicated to improving global mental health. Wysa has supported 6.5 million people through 700 million conversations across 95+ countries, offering high-quality and accessible care. It is the most evidence-backed mental health app, with multiple published clinical studies and has been awarded Best of Privacy by Mozilla Foundation and Best of Safety by ORCHA.

Jo has received numerous accolades, including being named a Top 10 Innovator for Social Good by the World Economic Forum in Davos (2023), one of the Top 100 People in Artificial Intelligence by Business Insider (2023), and a Top 25 Woman Leader in Consumer Health Tech by The Healthcare Technology Report (2022).

Previously, Jo worked on mobile employability for over a million young people as the Founding Director of Technology & Innovation for an UN-backed foundation. She is an alumna of IIT Delhi and IIM Lucknow and advises at MIT’s Legatum Center and divides her time between Bangalore and Boston.
