Dr Edzani Mphaphuli is a public health medicine physician and strategic leader steering the Grow Great Campaign to end childhood stunting in South Africa. A committed social activist, she co-founded and serves on the secretariats of the Union Against Hunger and the Maternal Support Grant Coalition, championing the first 1,000 days as the decisive window for early childhood development and lifelong health. Edzani blends strategic foresight with hands-on execution to strengthen health systems and deliver scalable, evidence-driven solutions that advance health equity. She is a devoted mother of three and an AI enthusiast, exploring tools for frontline impact and building bridges between technology, policy and community care.
